If you regularly stay in hotels for business purposes then you’ll know that practicality and location comes first when booking your business hotel. As many business hotels are quite simple and practical, they often have fairly cheap hotel rates, mainly because they have limited luxury amenities and are aimed at business travellers who simply require a straightforward hotel room. A lot of business hotels are also often part of a chain which means you can usually find some great deals, especially if you’re likely to be staying during the week.

The majority of business hotels will be centrally located close to major cities, offering easy access to the surrounding business and industrial areas, although you may find some business hotels just outside city centres that may be close to a large business park.

A good business hotel will also have a location near to transport links like trains stations and tube stations, so getting around is made easier.

However, when staying in a business hotel it is important to remember that a comfortable room and peaceful location is also important, otherwise you could be kept awake by traffic noises outside when you may have an important business meeting in the morning. Although you’ll be looking for practical and simple accommodation, business hotels will offer some amenities, and a good business hotel will have plenty of secure hotel parking, free internet access in rooms and the public areas, and perhaps an on-site restaurant and bar for breakfast and dinner, all of which will make for a more comfortable stay.
