Dunstable is an attractive market town located in Bedfordshire, England.
Lying on the Chiltern Hills, Dunstable is set in some beautiful surrounds and is the perfect base for exploring the many attractions, including Dunstable Downs, part of the Chiltern Hills. Managed by the National Trust, Dunstable Downs are a chalk escarpment and the highest point of the county of Bedfordshire; used by many visitors to glide, fly kits, hang glide and paraglide. A lion shape has been cut into the chalk of one of the hills by the nearby attraction Whipsnade Zoo, which is an excellent day out for the whole family, where you can see a Giraffe, Leopard, Eurasian Brown Bear and Sloth Bear, all in one place.
