Exeter Airport is situated 5 miles from Exeter city centre and 5 miles away from the M5 motorway.
For those travelling by car to this airport there are pick up and drop off points directly opposite the terminal entrance and waiting times are free for 10 minutes. There are also 2 short and 2 long stay car parks which can be booked in advance or paid for at pay stations or barriers. Motorbikes and cycles can also be parked at the airport – customer services will help advise.
Two bus services run from Exeter St David’s Rail Station daily from 7.30 am to 7pm a journey of five miles which takes around 25 minutes. St David’s is on the route to Paddington
, London and also travels to Plymouth
and Cornwall, and South Devon
Exeter Airport Taxis operate from outside the arrivals building and many can accommodate up to 8 people. They are manned 24 hours in order to meet with incoming flights.
For those wishing to rent a car, Avis, Europcar and Hertz all have offices at the airport.
Food and drink is available to passengers at Cafe Ritazza, which opens before the first flight arrives and closes after the last flight has left. The Air View bar offers panoramic views of the take-offs and landings. There is also a W H Smith situated in the airport building and a bureau de change situated in the check-in hall. Cash machines are situated in both the arrivals and departure areas.
Baby change facilities are available in rooms adjacent to all the toilets and bottle warming is available on request. Highchairs and children’s menus can be found in the restaurants.
