Buckle Yeat

There is no better way than to ramble across the Lake District fells before coming home to a roaring fire. Okay, so Buckle Yeat may not be my home, but it is a home from home.

This charming B&B is perfectly positioned to take in the breathtaking countryside; Beatrix Potter's House ‘Hill Top Farm'; and the excellent pub right next door! Perfect!

A timed-ticket system means that waiting times can be long; but the wait to see such an evocative house is well worth it.
