airport is situated in east London close to Canary Wharf, The O2 centre and ExCel London. It has excellent transport links; for road users it is situated outside the central London congestions charge zone, however all passengers are encouraged to use public transport whenever possible. In 2008 the airport was rated by Business Traveller Magazine as having the best transport
links in the world so public transport has to be the best option.

Short and long term parking is available, being situated just minutes from the terminal. It can be booked in advance or drivers can turn up and pay. There are many disabled spaces available. Passengers can be dropped off in the forecourt of the main terminal building – but no waiting is permitted.
