UK travel information

The seaside resort of Rhyl is situated on the North East coast of Wales, in the county of Denbighshire around 4 miles from Prestatyn. Rhyl boasts a number of great attractions. One of the landmarks of Rhyl is the 250ft Sky Tower, which opened in 1989. On the East Parade is the SeaQuarium public aquarium and Europe's first indoor surfing pool.

There are a number of traditional beach shops situated along the coasts, as well as well-known brands. Rhyl’s beach features some beautiful sand and is the perfect location for sunbathing and building sandcastles, as well as enjoying water sports.


Rhyl hotels

The town is accommodating towards tourists, with a number of hotels, guesthouses and bed and breakfasts, as well as a number of dining experiences. Rhyl is easy to find and access, with a railway station, buses and road links including the A525 from Wrexham, some 30 miles away.

Rhuddian Castle

Rhyl Sea Aquarium
Located on the seafront is this diverse aquarium. Highlights are the underwater tunnel, a ship wreck that houses many sea creatures and the seahorse nursery.

Dyserth Waterfall
Located 4 miles from Rhyl are these dynamic 60 feet falls, that plummet into the flowing stream below.
