Flights out of Bournemouth Airport include those going to Spain, Turkey, Italy, Greece, Portugal, Canary Islands, Switzerland, Finland, Cyprus, Malta, Italy, Greece and Egypt.

For passengers who have lost luggage, Bournemouth Airport has a handling agent, Servisair who can be contacted via telephone.

For passengers getting to the airport by car the Airport is situated 70 miles from the M25, and is clearly signposted just off the A338. There are comprehensive on-airport car parking facilities, both long and short stay, and parking charges can be paid via ticket machines or at the arrival barriers. Discounts are available for those booking in advance.


Europcar car rental operates from Bournemouth Airport, and is open from 8am to 6pm every day (closed on Sundays).A taxi service also operates from the airport – the approximate cost into Bournemouth town centre is at present £16. Poole town centre is £22 and Christchurch town centre is £10 one way (prices accurate December 2009).

Taking the Bournemouth bus shuttle service is a quick and convenient way to get into Bournemouth; it operates every hour from 7am to 7pm seven days a week (apart from 25th and 26th December and 1st January). The journey time is 15 minutes to the Travel Interchange. The travel interchange is where Bournemouth Rail Station is situated for passengers wishing to take the train to onwards destinations.

There are three cafe bars operating at the airport offering hot and cold food and beverages. There is also a W H Smith and a duty free shop on site. Foreign exchange booths are available both before and after check-in. For those in need of some entertainment before boarding there is a selection of high-tech arcade games situated in the departure lounge.
